Happy St. Valentine's Day!
Comments:
I use paypal, though I try to use it as little as possible. Though I never have any problem with confusing thier emails with spam, because I never get any spam, well, perhaps 1 a fortnight. _And_ I have a hotmail account, _and_ I've given my adress out to over a dozen websites. I don't know what everyone else's problem is.
I never trust my PayPal emails. I'll always log in and check out my notices from the site. It's the only reliable way.
I frequently get scam emails claiming to be from paypal that look very legitimate. I never click through any of the links of course, but I usually do hover over them long enough to see that what says "go to my paypal account" is actually linking to myaccount.paypal.com@254.23.122.75 or something similar (been a while since I have gotten one come to think of it).

Usually the scam mails will be pretty obvious though since they will be saying that your account will be suspended if you don't click through a link to verify your password. If you are foolish enough to actually enter a password in a link you got via email -on a non-secure site, no less- you kind of deserve to get ripped off.
