Promotional Shortcomings...

It seems that the shit hit the fan late last year and everyone at FSS probably knew this was how it was going to turn out. I still haven't bought the game yet, and don't think I actually will.
It IS the next Diablo. The problem is the Diablo formula doesn't quite work anymore. Not on it's own at least. Diablo 2 is still strangely addictive even today, sure, but the game style doesn't work so well anymore. It's too shallow.
My biggest gripe with the game though was that the guns don't feel solid. Feels too floaty. Never a good thing when that's such a huge part of the game.
I don't see anything wrong with the game at all. It's no diablo, but I can name at least a dozen high profile games that it blows out of the water in fun factor and personality. I cannot tell you the last time I've laughed so hard at a game. The second truth questline has got to be the funniest event I've played through in a LONG time. The FPS factor of the Marksman is a neat touch as well.
You probably already know, but more reviews have come in. I especially like how the user reviews are split between excellent and absolute crap... I'm guessing the game will gather up a loyal fanbase after all.
